Plant Health Care is a proactive approach for managing plant health.  It focuses on avoiding, removing or alleviating plant stresses.  Many of the pests and pathogens that affect plants in the landscape are opportunistic.  They attack weak and stressed plants and are a secondary infestation.  They are an indication of an underlying problem.

Spraying alone is not the answer.  By removing or reducing the primary problem and improving the plants health the pest or pathogen can be more effectively managed.  Plant Health Care is based on the knowledge and understanding of the plant and its environment.  This knowledge guides decisions in identifying and correcting underlying problems affecting the plants health.
