Invasive support system is any support system that damages the tree when it is installed. Cables, braces, and rods that are attached by drilling into the tree are considered invasive. Pictured here is a traditional cable system. 3/8inch Extra High Strength cable attached to the tree with 5/8inch eyebolts. A hole is drilled all the way through the trunk and the eyebolt is incerted
